Everything was pretty easy, and all things said the jeep was immaculate and amazing! Perfect vehicle for getting around the island. I know there are some things being figured out as far as parking and drop off….super sketchy and scary. Be warned - if it is still parked at the self storage facility, you’re going to have a hell of a time getting a ride to the airport, especially on a Sunday evening!! Plan ahead!!!

The rental process was easy, instructions were clear, and the owners at Alii Rental Cars were fast to respond! Would rent with them again!

Though it wasn’t entirely their fault the week of our trip we were notified that we could no longer pick up our car at the airport but an off site location. We arrived fairly late at night, it was extremely hard to find transportation to the car it took us over an hour and then it was even hard to locate the location of our car using a local Uber driver

Great Jeep though the manual windows and locks on this particular white Gladiator made us feel like we were living in the 80s. Wonderful service from the Ali'i team and they made the offsite pickup and drop-off nearly seamless. Far faster than waiting at one of the regular rental counters at LIH even after considering their barely offsite location. Will rent from them again. Mahalo!

Excellent first time experience! Fast communication, ontime delivery and very flexible with our schedule.

Vehicle was in great condition and made really good gas mileage. We added a Yeti cooler, two Tommy Bahama chairs and a beach umbrella. Everything we requested was in great condition and a value compared to rentals at the resorts. The pick-up / drop- off location was about a 10 minute drive from the airport so we caught a Lyft, which cost about $15. Fortunately after we dropped off the vehicle, we ran in to one of the owners, who gave us a ride to the airport. Mahalo! 🤙🏼 We took the car to a local wash (Sudz) which was a bit slow (6-7 cars ahead of us and took about 20 minutes.) The bummer came when we went to vacuum the car and saw that we needed 8 quarters to use the machine. Who carries change on vacation? Overall, a great experience and we saved a couple hundred dollars over the traditional rental companies. We’ll definitely use Alii Rental cars on our next trip to Kauai.

Plug in electric was game changing. Used it for a week. 300+ miles on 5.5 gallons! At $5.39/gallon it was a huge savings. And just awesome vehicle. No complaints. Great service and communication with Alii too. You will love this car!

The car is a blast. We loved it. Will be back again to Kauai next week and booked with this company again.

This is the BEST rental car I have ever had. It’s the perfect island car if you have surf gear! Plus it can go anywhere! It was super convenient to pick up and return. I felt very at home and not like a tourist. I hope to get this truck again!
