Did everything we needed it to do. Hiking, beach days, sight seeing, etc. Adding the Yeti cooler to the package was clutch! The hybrid drive train is a bit different, but you get used to it. Thank you Alii.

The Jeep was as advertised and was great for cruising around Kauai, but the listing noted pickup and drop-off at the airport, but in fact you need to do pickup and drop-off about 10 minutes drive away (which appears to be a recent rule change). Ubers/taxis can be tough to find, so you need to factor that into your timing and is a bit of a hassle, nothing against this company, just something to be aware of that wasn’t clear when we booked initially.

The Subaru Crosstrek is a great vehicle to drive around the island. The Alii rental car team were quick to respond to questions, and their shuttle service was fantastic! Would definitely recommend them to anybody needing a ride in Kauai.

The truck was in good shape, although the interior had some marks on the upholstery. It looked like probably salt water on the seats from people getting in soaking wet and then it drying. We didn’t expect the truck to have racks, but were pleasantly surprised to see Thule racks on it when we picked it up. Unfortunately, either the racks were not installed properly, or someone had removed most of the bolts securing the racks, making them wobbly and unsafe to use. Ali’i offered to remove the racks if we brought the truck back in, but we opted to just take them off ourselves. All in all, a pretty good experience, would rent from them again.
