Jeep was Great! The electric charge feature gained us nearly 100 extra miles with charging stations!! Would rent again!!

Everything about the car was amazing !! Ali’i rental company were super easy to communicate with. I would highly recommend them and this car specifically !

This jeep was perfect for our trip. Very clean, runs great, and very convenient drop off & pick up.

The jeep Wrangler, that we rented for our trip to Hawaii was awesome. The vehicle was in good shape, it allowed us to get to a lot of places on beaches and mountains that a standard car would not have allowed us to get to. The removal feature on the roof was very nice for getting the full immersive experience in Hawaii. And the color was totally unique, no matter where we parked it. We always found it within about 30 seconds.

Such a cool car! It was a really easy and simple process for pick up and drop off.

What a smooth process… from beginning to end. Keep was as described and hauled us around over 1200 miles on a 10day trip to Kauai. Will be back and will count on Alii again..

Had a great time driving the blue Jeep allover the island. Pick up from the airport arrival took a bit longer, as the Ali’i shuttle drove past us, so we had to wait for a second round (about 22 minute later, but may have been because he was full. The check engine light was on, which wasn’t disclosed, until we reached out day 1. But there was no breakdowns, and the prompt explanation was that it was on the list at the dealer to be reset. We chalked it up to “Island time”. There was a “humming noise” that was easily drowned out by the great sound system. Two of the rugged wheels had close to brand new tread, while two were pretty worn, so maybe they change two at a time? The batteries for the hybrid feature were at 80% upon pick up. After that, we were unable to charge the battery after the initial charge, with the provided level one charging cable at 4 different level one outlets. Upon reporting this, we were told we were the first to do so. Ali’i did tell us in our report that they utilize a level 2 charger at their lot, which is obviously more powerful, but the provided cord read an error on 4 outlets that were fully functioning. So we ended up relying solely on gas, which deterred us from buying or renting a 4xe in the future. Again, did not have any issues making it all the way to the canyon, falls, beaches & other adventures (but the thought was there, as we tend to make sure our own vehicles are kept up 100%.) We had a 7 day trip on the island with utilizing about 1.25 tanks of gas (plus the 26 or so miles on the initial 80% battery charge. The color is a real head turner & when coming back tired from adventuring, you can spot it in a parking lot easily! Clean up is a breeze as the floor mats all come out! There was prompt pick up from the Ali’i lot to the airport, so the kids & I didn’t have to wait long for Daddy’s return. My husband said the shuttle driver was rad & gave some tips for the island, so we tipped accordingly both times. We liked the “shuttle” option because it saved us $35 in more Hawaiian taxes/fees. All in all, we would rent from Ali’i again next time, but would skip the hybrid option.

Very good car. It takes you up to the Waimea Canyon.

Renting from Alii was fantastic. Highly recommend for Pride of America cruise ship passengers. Very close to the port and they are very flexible.
